The SAM Lab (Smart and Advanced Manufacturing Lab) is led by Professor Dian-Ru Li, bringing together a team of passionate researchers dedicated to smart and advanced manufacturing technologies. All team members share a strong enthusiasm for this field and actively engage in related research and applications. They demonstrate a self-motivated learning attitude, proactively explore innovative solutions, and contribute to advancing technology and laboratory research. Professor Lee encourages team collaboration while also valuing independent thinking and innovation, aiming to drive the progress of smart manufacturing technologies and their multidisciplinary applications through continuous challenges and hands-on practice.

SAM Lab智慧與先進製造實驗室由李典儒老師帶領團隊，本實驗室的團隊成員皆對智慧與先進製造技術充滿高度興趣與熱誠，積極投入相關研究與應用。成員具備自動自發的學習態度，能夠主動思考並探索創新解決方案，以推動技術發展與實驗室研究進展。老師鼓勵團隊合作，同時也重視個人獨立思考與創新能力，期望透過不斷挑戰與實踐，推動智慧製造技術的進步與多領域應用。

In addition to academic research, the lab also emphasizes team bonding and leisure activities. Regular gatherings, team events, and casual social interactions help members maintain a healthy balance between academic work and personal life, fostering stronger collaboration and a positive research environment.

此外，實驗室不僅關注學術研究，也重視團隊間的休閒娛樂與交流，透過定期聚會、團隊活動與輕鬆的社交場合，讓同學們在學術與生活之間取得平衡，培養更緊密的合作關係，營造良好的研究氛圍。

Currently, the team consists of three Ph.D. students and six master’s students. Additionally, undergraduate students may join the team as research assistants depending on the availability of positions within Professor Li’s ongoing projects.
