From November 17 to 21, 2024, Professor Dian-Ru Li lead Ph.D. student Shu-Yi Chang and master’s student Tsan-Hung Fu to Portland, USA, to participate in the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE 2024). Their research paper, titled “Machine Learning-Enabled Process Monitoring and Error Detection in Material Extrusion-Based Additive Manufacturing,” explores how artificial intelligence can enhance process monitoring and error detection in 3D printing, ultimately improving manufacturing quality and efficiency while contributing significantly to the field of smart manufacturing. The paper stood out in the highly competitive Best Paper Competition in AI and was honored with the award. Congratulations!
2024年11月17日至21日，李典儒老師帶領張淑怡博士生與傅粲閎碩士生前往美國波特蘭，參加International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition(IMECE) 2024 國際研討會。他們在會中發表的論文以「機器學習驅動的製程監控與錯誤檢測在材料擠出式增材製造中的應用」為主題，探討如何運用人工智慧技術提升3D列印製程的監控與錯誤檢測能力，進而優化製造品質與生產效率，為智慧製造領域帶來重要貢獻。該論文在競爭激烈的人工智慧最佳論文競賽 (Best Paper Competition in AI)中脫穎而出，榮獲大獎，特此恭賀！
