Congratulations to Cheng Chun-Tse for winning Second Place in the “Smart Manufacturing and AI-Driven Innovation Paper Award” with his paper titled “A Study on Real-Time Parameter Prediction and Optimization Methods for Photopolymerization-Based Layer Manufacturing Process Control Integrated with Machine Learning”!

This competition, organized by Symtek Automation Asia, aims to support the government’s push for smart machinery and smart manufacturing policies, promote industrial transformation, and encourage AI technology applications. It also fosters the development of interdisciplinary talents in mechatronics, software design, and AI innovation.

Cheng’s research integrates machine learning techniques to monitor and analyze key parameters in the photopolymerization printing process in real-time. By dynamically optimizing the printing conditions, this approach significantly improves both process quality and production efficiency. His work demonstrates the innovative potential of AI in the field of smart manufacturing.
